STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

We believe the bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of god. We believe that there is one god, eternally existent in three persons; god the father, god the son, and god the Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And that he was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day, he rose from the dead and ascended on high where he sat down at the right hand of the father.

We believe in the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the church. That the dead in Christ shall rise first and those who are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.

We believe in life after death, which is eternal life. Where one spends eternity, (either in heaven or in hell), is determined by the decision to live according to god's word and commandments, or by the decision to rebel and deny his word and commandments.

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy spirit and the sanctifying power of the holy spirit by whom Christians are enabled to live a holy and set apart life in this present world. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe in tithing and bringing offerings for the support of the local church. We also believe in giving alms and caring for homeless, sick, poor, and the less fortunate.

We believe in water baptism in the name of the father, son and Holy Spirit as a sign of repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We also believe in the name of Jesus and the authority invested in that name.
